The IDSA Foundation embarked on an innovative partnership with the Alzheimer’s Germ Quest, Inc. (AGQ) to provide two $50,000 research grants. We are thrilled to announce the two awardees after receiving thought-provoking applications from several ID specialists. Both will conduct projects to discover the possible linkage between infectious diseases and Alzheimer’s disease. This research has the potential to save lives and develop preventive care methods for the millions affected by Alzheimer’s disease around the world.
