Mimi Glode, MD: A Woman of ID

An incredible number of nominations were submitted in honor and recognition of a woman in the field of infectious diseases who has created a path forward for ID research, mentorship, and advocacy. Last year, we honored four incredible women, but this year, the IDSA Foundation will highlight the work and inspiration of six Women of ID over the year. It is important we continue to spotlight those nominated as well as the rising leaders of ID. Our mission is focused on building the future of ID and there are women all over the world helping to shape this mission into reality in their everyday lives – personally and professionally.

Starting our series of Women of ID, we are thrilled to feature Dr. Mimi Glode. Her passion and dedication to Pediatric Infectious Diseases has led to groundbreaking research and discovered live saving approaches for children affected by infectious diseases. Read her story.
