The IDSA Foundation strengthens the ID workforce by facilitating  mentorships, offering travel grants to early-career experts and educating more than 1,000 clinicians each year on timely ID care topics. We also advance health equity by supporting rising clinicians in underrepresented communities, helping to build a more prepared, diverse and resilient ID workforce.

The IDSA Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, serves as the primary fundraising partner advancing IDSA’s strategic priorities. Through philanthropic and industry support, the Foundation strengthens the ID workforce; promotes inclusion, diversity, access and equity; and enhances IDSA’s capacity to lead in preparedness, research and public health response. By aligning fundraising efforts with IDSA’s mission, the Foundation helps ensure the Society’s long-term impact as a trusted convener and leader in addressing the world’s most pressing ID challenges.
